In today's news, It was stated that come August 2nd, if they do not raise the debt limit, that no one on social security or disability will receive their checks. Now, i for one view this as a crime against all those that have done what was expected from them.
Worked their whole life, paid their taxes, paid iheir bills, and are now retired or in my case, classified as 200% disabled. ( and yes you read that right, i was classified as 200% disabled). Don't ask me how this is, I wasn't the judge. I just agreed with him and his judgement.
I can tell you this much, I would much rather be working, being that when i was able to work, life was so much easier than nowadays.
Once again, politicians are using those that can least afford it, to balance the budget. It is clear to this writer, that ALL politicians couldn't care less about the people of the U S of A. In my opinion, not one of these politicans are worth the price of a cold beer. Let alone the money there are paid for being in Washington DC. And no matter what party they belong to, it is clear that they NO LONGER represent the American people. They are only in it for what they can get out of it.
No matter which side of the aisle they are from, ALL of them, including the president, are acting like spoiled rotten children: making threats, posturing, running off at the mouth, and for what? What they are really doing is just putting fear into the American people which is counter-productive in the extreme.
The point in fact is, if government does not get its act in order, the whole world will pay the price--not just the American people.

intro
welcome to my blog, I am new to all this, but, i can asure you, I will keep you informed and amused.
you can be sure that I will never mislead you, lie to you or give you false information. much of what you will find here will be of my opinion, and we all know what that is worth....
It is my hope that this will be a place where people will feel free to voice their views and opinions. It is also my right to agree or disagree with your views. The bottom line is to get people talking about what is on thier minds.
The subject matter will vary widely, everything from politics and religion to banking and corporate greed and fraud.
My only request is that you use facts and common sense when posting a reply or statement. Please also remain respectful.
